A couple weeks ago my sister asked me to check on her puppy, Bella, during the day while she was at work. They switched her food and forgot to do it slowly, so Bella was not feeling the best.
It was good to spend time with her again and I want to take her more often, it just seems my illnesses always get in the way. But while I was there I took a couple pics of her. Enjoy! 🙂
Well, I am a little late on wishing you all a merry Christmas so I hope you have a happy new year! 🙂
I decided to take Benelli to Storm and my old places. This is the first place I chose to visit, a park not far from where we live. I didn’t take as many pics as I would have liked since everything is turning anything but the color of green. Maybe we can try again in the spring next year.
As expected, it was difficult visiting the park without Storm. But I was proud of myself for not crying. I know I will try to bring Benelli to the other places, although I’m not sure I will bring him to a place more than once. I want to create new memories with Benelli in new places.
I have a new niece! Although she has more hair than the others. And walks on all fours. And is a bully… bully breed that is! 🙂 Meet Bella! She is part Pittie and part English Bulldog.
My sister got her about two weeks ago and I am of course, very envious. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my little Benelli!
It’s just nice to have access to a bully breed again! 🙂
Since I normally have insomnia, I love sleep. I love bedtime. I know to enjoy it when I get sleep because there is a good chance that I won’t get any the next night. However the last two to three months, I have hated sleep because my whole backside ends up in such pain every night. I wake up with a headache EVERY morning and the intense pain radiates down my neck and continues all the way down my back.
At first I thought it might be my new mattress, but it was past the return date so I couldn’t bring it back. I did some more thinking and also thought it could be my Fibromyalgia. I know talking with one of my aunts that she no longer sleeps in a bed because of her Fibro pain.
I decided to experiment one night and slept on my new couch, which mind you, is a comfy couch during the day. I found when I woke up, I had the same familiar pain. So I know it is my Fibro. This is the first time I have had issues from my Fibro and sleeping. After talking to a friend that also has Fibro, she mentioned she has dealt with the same issue and a zero gravity chair works great. So until I can save for a zero gravity chair to sleep in, I need to figure out something else.
On Monday I saw my family doctor and we decided it would be best to up one of my doses instead of adding another new pill to the mix that I already take. It should be at least a couple days before I can tell if the extra pill is working or not. So now I wait…
So Benelli turned one year old on August 30th. However, I didn’t get my disability check until the next day so we waited a day to celebrate. He got a lot of goodies, mostly the food kind. Since it was his birthday, he got a free treat and bandanna from the pet store we visited. I bought him a large treat bone as his “birthday cake.”
His poo was teal for the following two days. Hehe!
After celebrating, I spent some time grieving. The next day, Sept 1st, was the one year anniversary of putting Storm down. I viewed some pics but I couldn’t bring myself to look at the videos I had of her. It was a very bittersweet couple of days for me.
And in case you are wondering, yes, Benelli is still a little shit!
