Another shot

I decided to purchase a picture of Benelli along with my free picture. I wish she had cheaper choices so I could have purchased more. Oh well, I am just thankful I was able to go through the process and receive a free picture. And I understand her pricing. These pictures are on like, a wood (I think?) piece, so it is not a normal flimsy picture.

Thank you to Animal Studio Photography!

We hope you are all doing well during this challenging time. Stay safe!

Lucky Me

In June/July, a dog photographer put out a FB post stating she was having a contest. A person needed to like her business FB page (Animal Studio Photography) and post a picture of their pet in the comments.  Ten winners would win a free sitting session and one free 5 x 7 of their favorite picture. I of course wanted chance to get a nice shot of Benelli since I knew I would never be able to afford one.

Well, we won! 🙂

He did great during the sitting session. He listened for about an hour then after that he didn’t bother trying to please the photographer and I. Haha!

The other week I FINALLY received my free 5 x 7. Here is a digital copy, what do you think??

🙂

A huge thank you to Animal Studio Photography!

Flooded Creek

It was such an unusually nice day yesterday for April that I decided to take Benelli out. I stopped at a park not too far from us that is next to a creek. Due to some late snow storms and rain in the state earlier this month, we had flooding all around us and this park/creek was affected. Here are a few pics I took while I was there.

These steps should not be covered in water

Branches and parts of logs everywhere

Visiting Storm’s and My Spots

I decided to take Benelli to Storm and my old places. This is the first place I chose to visit, a park not far from where we live. I didn’t take as many pics as I would have liked since everything is turning anything but the color of green. Maybe we can try again in the spring next year.

As expected, it was difficult visiting the park without Storm. But I was proud of myself for not crying. I know I will try to bring Benelli to the other places, although I’m not sure I will bring him to a place more than once. I want to create new memories with Benelli in new places.

A Bully In My Life Again

I have a new niece! Although she has more hair than the others. And walks on all fours. And is a bully… bully breed that is! 🙂 Meet Bella! She is part Pittie and part English Bulldog.

My sister got her about two weeks ago and I am of course, very envious. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my little Benelli!

It’s just nice to have access to a bully breed again! 🙂

Birthday Boy

So Benelli turned one year old on August 30th. However, I didn’t get my disability check until the next day so we waited a day to celebrate. He got a lot of goodies, mostly the food kind. Since it was his birthday, he got a free treat and bandanna from the pet store we visited. I bought him a large treat bone as his “birthday cake.”

His poo was teal for the following two days. Hehe!

After celebrating, I spent some time grieving. The next day, Sept 1st, was the one year anniversary of putting Storm down. I viewed some pics but I couldn’t bring myself to look at the videos I had of her. It was a very bittersweet couple of days for me.

And in case you are wondering, yes, Benelli is still a little shit!
