Feelin’ gooooooood

It seems ever since I posted that I was going to work more on blogging, my life has been super busy. But that always seems to always happen, right? I had a handful of errands to run almost every day of the week and not only that but I felt GOOD. Occasionally something would pop up with my health to which I would get some rest, but the next day I would get up and be productive once again. I was so productive that I began to question it since that rarely happens in my life. Normally because of my fatigue, it can take some time to finally perform a full task. I usually do a little at a time and divide that time up between days. I’m not lazy, the act just exhausts me. So either it’s the nice weather, or the fact that I admitted to the world that I was going to work harder, I am happy that I am getting things done. πŸ™‚

When going on errands (and if the weather is decent), I try to bring Storm with me. Not only does it get her out of the house, but it helps wear her out (hahaha!). She sits in the front passenger seat and quietly waits for me to return. People usually walk by and laugh as she sits like a human just chillin’. If I get an extra burst of energy I will stop by a park so she can get out of the cramped car and check out unfamiliar smells. One day, I stopped a bike trail location that had a bridge and took a couple pictures of her. I want to stop by again in a few months when there is more green showing, center the picture a more to my liking and take off her leash. I’m impressed she did well with these shots as there was a nearby runner she was trying to say hello to.

So yeah that’s it. Nothing exciting happening but getting plenty done. πŸ™‚

"Mom, I need to go slobber on that lady before she starts running again!"
“Mom, I need to go slobber on that lady before she starts running again!”

I was scratching her arm for a bit and she started to fall asleep sitting up. Hahaha

I am a geeky animal lover and have an American Bulldog named Storm. Storm is my everything. She helps keep me sane by being my companion pet. I am an expert in chronic pain as I have Systemic Lupus, Fibromyalgia and migraines. I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2000 and the rest followed after that year.

  1. I just bought my Max a 20 foot lead so he can go explore and roll and not pull me off the path. And he can run a bit without dragging me down, too! Aren’t days when you feel good wonderful?

    1. Very nice! My mom just bought me one as well. Haha. It’s a wire one for a tie out but it works! πŸ™‚ I’m going to hook it outside my door of the apartment so I don’t need to always be outside when she wants to lay in the sun. *Sigh* Yes, it is nice to feel wonderful. Having an illness helps keep things in check to not take anything for granted. πŸ™‚

  2. It’s great to get out and be able to do things. That must feel so awesome!
And I’m sure Storm responds to your increased energy πŸ™‚
    Lovely photos πŸ™‚

  3. Aww…Storm is sooo cute! πŸ™‚
I also love the black and white pics too.
Reminds me of Ansel Adams for some reason….
But his photos were of other objects. Black & white …is different. I guess because you think of any colors to be in there. ( so to speak )
Storm bas beautiful colors too. πŸ™‚
And I guess also, since I play on my art programs on my computer, I can add any color…if that makes sense.
But B&W…the sky is the limit!
Nice to frame just like that.
Most dogs love to ride. I guess it is always a new adventure for them. Plus some sun is good for them, as well as people. πŸ™‚
I need to figure out a way to take our dogs without “him” griping. The rear end of our jeep lays flat up to the first seat.
    What to do..what to do…
I need to come up with removable material that can also be washed. And somebow attachable.
I’ll figure it out. He can deal with it.
Now of the dogs would quit going bonkers over vehicles that go the other way! It is most always trucks.

And whatever you have that is giving you so much energy…I really need some!!! I feel so tired today.
Keep up the stories and photos, I love them!! πŸ™‚

    1. Hehe! Thank you! πŸ™‚ I think she is pretty darn cute myself. πŸ˜‰ Yeah, I can’t figure out why I love black & white but maybe it’s like you said, you have to use your imagination when you look at them. I completely understand what you mean. πŸ™‚ Also, I personally think I look better in black and white pics so maybe that’s part of it. LOL.

They have like, the waterproof liners or whatever for the backseats for dogs. Would that work for your removable material? I just have a blanket in back for Storm to lay on. But it’s leather seats so it doesn’t do much good as it is (and she lol!!) is sliding around. Hahaha! Oh well, at least I try, right?? Hehe! πŸ™‚

Thank you kindly for the likes, and wonderful comments. πŸ™‚ I am glad you love the stories and photos! ((hug)) I don’t have any extra energy for you today but still hope you have a wonderful evening! πŸ™‚

  4. It’s funny how you mention her just sitting and ‘chillin’ in the passenger seat. We see a man in town with an American bulldog run his errands with the dog in the front passenger seat the same way, the only difference is the second he gets out of the truck to pick up groceries or what have you, the pup switches over very casually into the driver’s seat! My kids find it absolutely hilarious as we have seen this happening more than once.

Such wonderful photos πŸ™‚ I hope you are still feeling well and able to get lots done!

    1. Hehehe! Apparently, it is very common for American Bulldogs to do that. I belong to an AB group on Facebook and people are constantly posting pics of their dogs sitting like that. πŸ™‚
Thank you so much! Not feeling quite as well but I’ve been worse, so I can put up with these couple of issues. πŸ™‚ ((Hugs))
